Shirt Sponsorship draw 30th May 2008

Shirt draw winner Stuart Houston of JB Houston Butchers, Dumfries celebrates winning the Queen of the South FC Shirt Draw. The largest draw with over 200 entries followed the teams successful season. Stuart is pictured with daughters Amy and Sally.

Shirt Sponsorship draw 29th May 2008
There was a record entry of 213 for the annual Shirt Sponsorship Draw held at Palmerston Social Club tonight. Winners were that long established Dumfries butchers firm, J. B. Houston who will have their name emblazoned on Queens' shirts next season. Runners up, who will have their name on the shorts were a Dalbeattie company, European Forests Ltd.

The 'Silent Auction' at the end (for the name on the reverse of the shirts) was won by Maxwelltown Builders and the draw was made by our two longest serving players, Jim Thomson and Andy Aitken.

Queen of the South Lounge Bar,
Palmerston Park, Dumfries,
on Thursday, 29th May, 2008 at 7.30pm.

The draw will consist of 11 prizes:
